Mr. Langill is particularly well versed in the most modern care systems in mental health/addictions, physical medicine and rehabilitation service delivery. Since his retirement as a health care CEO in 2005, he has remained actively engaged in several projects while taking on the role of Executive in Residence to the MHA Program, Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa. 

Contract work has included:

  • Trend analysis for a major health insurance benefits review

  • Strategic planning for programs involved in long term care and chronic disease management, creating strategic alliances among the health components of a University and two Community Colleges,

  • Marketing and business development for a large American architectural and engineering company,

  • Facilitating governance engagement in strategic planning, facilitating advocacy and planning for the Health and community programs of a major community college

  • Providing land use advise to a large provincial land management agency related to health care developments

  • Organizational design using a project management model for a national association

  • Developing educational modules in strategic planning and change management for a national accrediting body, to name a few.
